Kanchibiya Town Council has commenced construction on the Ntamanga-Chakopo road with a target distance of 30km, aiming to improve rural development and livelihoods in local communities.
Government under the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development allocated K3.2Million Kwacha per constituency under the Constituency Development Fund
(CDF) for the purpose of opening up and maintaining roads to contribute towards rural development.
These projects demonstrate the government’s commitment to infrastructure development and decentralizing development through initiatives like the CDF. By improving road networks, local communities can benefit from enhanced economic opportunities, increased access to essential services, and improved livelihoods.
The Department of Engineering has made notable progress in grading and re-graveling roads within the constituencies
