The Permanent Secretary for Special Duties in the Cabinet Office Mr Bwalya wisdom and Muchinga Province deputy Permanent secretary Mr Mubanga conducted a working visit to Kanchibiya District.
The delegation, received by Kanchibiya Town Council Secretary Mr Joseph Zulu, the PS toured the first ever Kanchibiya Community Radio station, Chalabesa police post, water reticulation systems, and health facilities, where he expressed satisfaction with the progress of presidential initiatives and congratulated the Council for the good quality of work done in Kanchibiya District.
The implementation of projects such as maternity annexes, water reticulation systems, staff houses and classroom blocks demonstrates the government’s commitment to improving the lives of citizens.
He further, met with local residents to understand their challenges and concerns, demonstrating the government’s focus on people-centered development.
Mr Bwalya emphasized the importance of delivering fully completed projects to communities, ensuring maximum impact and benefits for the people.
During an engagement session with civil servants, he encouraged selfless service to the community, highlighting the need for efficient and effective service delivery.
